2020 Pennants

Competition Overview

The NSW State Pennants is the oldest event on the NSW Calendar.

The competition plays off in a Sides event of 12 players. Grade 1 is administered by the State Match Committee in conjunction with local Zone Match Committees.  The Zone Match Committees administer Grades 2 to 7 with the assistance of the State Match Committee.

Club sides who have qualified for the finals competition, are the champions of their Zone formats and commit themselves to the tournament against representatives from each of the other Zones. Players represent their Club and themselves at this leading event.

Positions at 2020 State Finals (Grade 1)

  • Far North Coast – Play Off with Northern, (plus play-off for additional position)*
  • Northern – Play Off with Far North Coast, (plus play-off for additional position)*
  • Hunter/Newcastle – 4 positions (plus play-off for additional position)*
  • Central Coast – 1 position
  • Southern – 3 positions
  • Sydney Metro – 6 positions

Note – positions may be amended, based on results of Northern, Far North Coast Conference sides
