Junior Development in New South Wales

Bowls NSW supports junior bowls and its development pathways throughout the state with the support and assistance of the Junior Committee and National Coaches.  There is a junior development pathway below and a number of initiatives and competitions, which support junior bowls in this state.

Below you will find details on how juniors can become involved in playing bowls in your local area. Within NSW there are 16 zones and clubs within these zones that offer coaching and competitions for Juniors. Please scroll down for further information on how children and juniors can start playing bowls.

Bowls NSW Development Pathway

Junior Competitions 2019

Drakes Pride Carnival – Thursday 9th July – Saturday 11th July  2020 (Windang Bowling Club)

NSW State Championships – Juniors – Monday 13th July – Saturday 18th July  2020 (Warilla Bowling and Recreation Club)

Junior 7 a Side Inter-Zone – Saturday 7th November – Sunday 8th November 2020 (Club Dubbo)

Bowls NSW divide up the state into 16 zones and clubs within these zones offer Junior services to children. The attached document outlines each zones locations and the key contacts and clubs for Juniors to learn and play Bowls. All families are welcome to contact these clubs to have your child start off their bowls career.
