

The first chapter of the 2020 NSW State Championships Finals will conclude with the Triples Finals at Ettalong (Friday 19 February).
In the main decider, Warilla trio Brendan Aquilina, Corey Wedlock and Gary Kelly will face off against the Campbelltown City combination of Adam Johnson, Ricky McConnell and Luke Grainger.
The Campbelltown City team emerged with three wins in their section, sweeping aside Engadine, Mona Vale and Inverell Sporties before eclipsing Tuncurry Beach in their Semi-Final.
They face a red-hot International trio with Aquilina having represented Malta, Wedlock a current Australian Jackaroo and Kelly a World Champion playing for Northern Ireland.
The State Senior Triples will see Westport’s Peter Taylor playing in his third final so far in the Championships, having already won the Champion of Champion Singles and Senior Pairs so far. He is teamed with fellow Pairs Champion Greg Brims and 2019 Pairs Champion Peter Stockham. Westport accounted for Valentine in the Semi-Final after emerging from their section unbeaten.
Westport will take on Lismore Heights Terry McFadden, Martin Holden and Percy Langby after they accounted for Lightning Ridge in their Semi-Final.
The State President’s Reserve Triples final will feature teams from West Wyalong Services and Citizens (Robert Forsyth, Craig Widdows & Tony Parkes) and Breakers Wamberal (Graeme Styman, Michael Maycock & Peter Gibbs) after they accounted for teams from NBC Sports and Bathurst City respectively.
