The 2020 Bowls NSW State Championships will be held at Ettalong Memorial Bowling Club during February & March 2021.
The 2020 Bowls NSW State Champions of Champions will also be conducted during these timeframes at Ettalong Memorial Bowling Club.
The two instalments were introduced to attempt to minimise disruption to zone/club calendars for 2021 events.
Bowls NSW attempted to put in place a schedule to help minimise travel times for participants, especially from the furthest zone regions, however, as there were an unusually high number of players across multiple disciplines, this season, it is impossible to coordinate a schedule to suit everyone.
Bowls NSW would like to thank the zones and players for their patience as we traversed our way through the COVID-19 pandemic disruptions to the 2020 season, so that we could get zone championships completed, in order to hold the State Championships.
Bowls NSW expresses its appreciation to the Management, Board & Staff of Ettalong for their understanding and collaboration the organisation of dates and setting of schedule and for continuing to be such magnificent hosts of our State Championships. We eagerly anticipate another exciting and successful event on the Central Coast.
Bowls NSW would also like to convey its gratitude to the CEO & Board of South Tamworth Bowling Club for their accepting of 2020 State Champion of Champions event to be staged alongside our 2020 State Championships and look forward to returning to the club for the 2021 State Champion of Champions in November.
Please note that winners of 2020 NSW State Open Championships will qualify for the 2020 Australian Championships to be conducted at Dandenong Bowling Club in Victoria from 24 – 28 May 2021.
