WBNSW & BNSW welcomes the NSW Government announcement today (10 June) that community sports for all ages will be able to resume organised matches from 1 July.
This will include the resumption of social and competition bowls.
The current restrictions AS LEGISLATED BY NSW GOVERNMENT still apply, that is, up to 10 persons are allowed per green, for training/practice purposes only, with social distancing, hygiene and cleaning of equipment and recording of participants procedures be in place.
The government has advised that more specific details regarding the resumption of sport will be released over the coming days and when these are known, both WBNSW & BNSW will release their COVID safe plans and recommended guidelines/checklist for clubs to be able to ensure they are set up to meet the requirements, prior to the 1 July start date.
Both Associations acknowledge the patience of our membership during these recent times and we all can now look forward to resuming participating in our great sport from 1 July.
