Our sport is supported throughout the State by a conservatively estimated 20,000 volunteers.
These volunteers work in every level and capacity of club life, from Board directors, club and game officials, coaches, welfare officers, greenkeepers and club all-rounders, without whom many clubs would cease to exist.
Our sport could not function without the unwavering generosity of our volunteers.
The Bowls NSW Volunteer of the Year Award is your platform to show appreciation to the unsung heroes of your club.
The nomination process is quick and easy, download the 2019 nomination form here.
It only takes five minutes to fill out and can be done completely online (no need to print and post).
Let us know why the volunteer you are nominating has made a difference to your club.
All nominees will receive a certificate of appreciation from Bowls NSW.
The finalists will receive two complimentary tickets to the Bowls NSW Player Awards Evening, to be held at the Kirribilli Club, Lavender Bay on 13 February 2020.
The winner of the 2019 Volunteer of the Year will receive a trophy and a $500 travel voucher.
Entries close 23 January 2020.
The finalists will be announced in the January e-newsletter and the winner will be announced at the 2019 Player Awards Evening.
