BowlsLink ‘staging site’ access
Original Story By Bowls Australia (Monday 1st October, 2018)
BowlsLink, the new whole-of-sport information technology platform, is gearing up for the public unveiling of new club sites, with clubs handed the keys to ‘staging sites’ last week.
Every club with an existing SportsTG site (except SA, WBNSW and QLD) have been provided login details to a new interim Memberpoint staging site, which provides a non-live platform for clubs to build and develop their new sites before they are switched on.
Clubs were given access to the staging sites on October 2, 2018, if you maintain your club’s SportsTG based website and have not yet received this information please contact Kelvin Rodgers on the information provided below.
Bowls Australia has developed a number of resources, available online here, to help clubs with the development process of the new Memberpoint website.
It is important to remember that this is the first stage of the system change-over, and only affects club’s public websites that are hosted through the SportsTG console; all other components of the SportsTG system (Membership, Competitions, Jack Attack) will remain unaffected.
It is expected that the launch of specific components of Bowls Link will be staggered according to the playing seasons of some states and territories, so as to not impede on competitions in progress, and to allow adequate time for education and training in the new system.
