It gives Bowls NSW great pleasure in announcing the Junior Blues sides to take part in the upcoming Test series vs Queensland. The Under 18 Blues sides that will be representing NSW at Capalaba Bowls Club in Queensland on 8-10 July 2018 are:
NSW Under 18 Girls
Brittany Camp (Armidale Ex Services)
Kasey Cone (West Tamworth)
Mia Hotson (Camden)
Rebekah Lord (St Johns Park)
Erin Swatridge (Glenbrook)
NSW Under 18 Boys
Jono Davis (Dubbo Railway)
Connor Freeman (Raymond Terrace)
Thomas Holburn (Wallacia)
Bailey Meti (Ettalong)
Toby Peters (Warilla)
The team will be accompanied by coach Sharyn Renshaw and stand in coach, Jackaroo and NSW state squad member Ray Pearse (in the absence of Gary Willis).
“It will be a new chapter for our juniors with so many fresh faces being included” suggested State team coach Gary Willis. “The side members were all participants representing NSW in the Brett Duprez Series last month but this will pose a completely different challenge against a very strong Queensland.”
With mixed results in the Brett Duprez series, the NSW Junior Blues will look to put their best foot forward in the upcoming Test. Bowls NSW wishes both sides every success in Queensland and welcomes all the fresh faces into a new look group of under 18 stars.
